Now be honest, parents. Is that not one iota of fear coming to the surface when you are planning your next family vacation? First, it is the whining chorus, "Are we there yet?" It only becomes worse when you are "there", and about an hour for sightseeing, the kids start whining that it is not fun and they're bored. Well, I've got an excellent solution to this age-old problems. I have five destinations that are guaranteed to keep the children laugh and the parents rejoicing. Check out these ideas: 1) Wisconsin Dells: You may have never even heard of The Dells. If not, where have you been? Hiding under a rock somewhere? Well, I must admit, the population is only around 4000, but it's called adventure capital of the world. You can surf or boogie board 365 days on year. You can do the family raft ride down the super fast rapids, tubes down a six-storey high-thrill ride, do-body images that twist and turn from ten stories up in the flume and stomach-turning drops. And water sports are just the beginning. Ride a go-cart, go snowmobiling, bungee jumping, crawling through a haunted house, or take on the world maximum vertical acceleration. Go to a petting zoo, visit the Bartlett Exploratory with 150 interactive exhibits, visitors Wizard Quest interactive game of fantasy, enjoy yourself Paint-it Pottery Shop. Need I say more. You will not stop to things to do, even if you stay two weeks. The Dells is a winner. 2) Yellowstone National Park: Everyone has heard of this place, but do you really know what it offers? Apart from the idyllic camping experience, you can ride, snowmobiles, snow coach or Stagecoach riding, cross country skiing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, or driving around the gorgeous Yellowstone Lake. The best place to view wildlife at close direction is probably in the Lamar Valley and the Northeast Entrance. Here you will see grizzly bear, coyote, gray wolf, fox, black bear, river otters, elk, bison, and pronghorn and mule deer. You can look at old faithful to spout off or go to the Norris Geyser Basin and watch the geysers in one sweet little privacy. The best news of your parents is excellent Junior Ranger programs offered by the park. It offers hiking days before the children of nature throughout the park. Very funny. Then get back to camp just in time for grilling chicken, steak or hamburgers for the perfect end to a full day. 3) Black Hills and Badlands of South Dakota: This area taking in a whopping 10,000 square miles vast prairies, Badlands scenery, rugged mountains, and grasslands. It is also home to seven national parks and many state Parks. See the breathtaking Mt. Rushmore and the new monument to Chief Crazy Horse. Explore caves, or visit an archaeological excavation of 50 giant mammoths. Pan for gold, hiking, biking, cross-country ski, snowmobile, ATV riding, or riding, Again Junior Ranger program is also excellent here. The children will study fossils, look at the beautiful nature films of the park and enjoy the rare practical displays and exhibitions of dinosaur. If you ever get tired of these activities, taking in an old West Shootout a cowboy Dinner Show. Then take the family to one of the six theme and amusement parks in the area. The Badlands are bad! … In a good way. 4) San Francisco: I can say now, San Fran is far, far more than Fisherman's Wharf and Golden Gate Bridge. There are two major zoos to choose from: and the San Francisco Zoo Oakland Zoo. San Francisco Zoo is larger and has more varied wildlife. Oakland is part of the 525-acre Knowland Park. It is a bit more laidback and less congestion in the crowd. The Bay Area Discovery Museum covers 28,000 square meters of exhibits. Children can climb over a wrecked fishing boat, learn to ride a unicycle, and creating mud animation films. There are mixed reviews about Children's Fairyland. Although it is an old playground, but the younger children seem to adore it. For some of them will to be their favorite destination. At Zeum Museum children can record their own music video to take home, they can have fun in claymation Studio, or they can use children's desktop publishing to create their own piece of full-color art. At the Hershey Factory kids see how candy is manufactured, and get some free chocolate. And for the older children, I have not even cover the massive Underwater World and Steinhart Aquarium and Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge and explore the World War II submarines. 5) Kingsmill Resort: This place stretches out over 3000 hectares of Virginia wilderness. For the adults there are three 18-hole golf courses, 15 tennis courts and a sports club featuring indoor and outdoor pools, fitness classes, personal trainers, and a billiard and games room. For children, offers a wonderful Kids Camp 5-12-year-olds a chance to learn tennis, golf, ping pong, arcade games, swimming and fishing. They also enjoy theme days and the creation of arts and crafts. Children can also play on the beach and collect shells, The Kid's Night Out offers parents a romantic night alone that the children enjoy a pizza, games, movies and parties. If you explore all that place has to offer, Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens are close by. The hardest part will probably to decide which of these fantasy family vacations to plan. You simply can not go wrong choosing any of these trips. Have fun.
