Is Lin Hall at Ohio University really haunted?

I love to be scared – and I want to plan a visit so please tell me I would be a waste of time. Even if someone has seen action in person please tell me.

Athens Mental Health Center, in Athens County, which situated on a hill opposite the float Hocking River in Ohio. It opened in January 9, 1874 on land purchased from a local farmer named Coates. In recent years, although State Hospital campus called "ridges", has been in the Ohio University campus and now houses several of the university buildings. Clearly, many changes taken place on this site, but there are still some original remnants of the old institution – and they are not entirely physical remains … Many years ago, mental hospitals were considered strange places indeed. Athens Mental Health Center was an infamous facility that was used to house the criminally insane. Different stories is about abuse that occurred within its walls. Beatings, torture and other cruel punishment was apparently the norm for today and there have been many reports of deaths and murders that occur within the facility walls. Facility History Department was closed in the 1980s during the time when Reagan administration closed many of its hospitals to achieve budget savings. Many of the detainees were released only on the streets and now account for a large part of Athens relatively large homeless population. Ohio University acquired most of the Institute's campus and many buildings have been or are being refurbished for use as administrative buildings. Many of the buildings are open to the public where interested parties can take guided tours and hear about the atrocities and appalling treatment at the hospital Prisoners are forced to endure. One of the more popular stories provide tourists with a vivid and grim reminder of how important a "normal" functioning of the brain can be. Margaret Schilling Soon before the institution closed, an internal named Margaret Schilling, mysteriously disappeared from campus. On 12 January, 1979 issue ran on the Athens Post, an article about the event and calmly asked the public for any assistance they can offer. A SEARCH PARTY was assembled by the authorities, but no trace of Marge could be found. Center since then closed and when the episode was forgotten. A few weeks later, a maintenance man named Clarence Allison was working in the department n. 20 when he made a shocking discovery in the attic of the facility. Marge's body, which had been decaying for 5 weeks, was found sprawled on the floor. The authorities suspected that Marge had hidden in the attic in the building. Demented and unable to care for herself, Marge had simply died of starvation in the very spot she chose to hide. After the body has surprised officials to find a perfectly shaped, dark outline of her body superimposed on the floor. The disposition revealed many details – folds and wrinkles in her clothes and even the hair style she wore in death, were clearly visible. The stain was cleaned by maintenance workers, but mysteriously came back after a day or two. After many attempts cleanings soon apparent that the stain does not disappear. Researchers who have investigated a mysterious stain, has reasoned that the stain was due to decomposition of her body, an occurrence not uncommon. Today, the stain on the marble floor is still unmistakably visible and is a peripheral part of the campus tours. Cemeteries in the area another popular meeting place for the facility is one of the campus's notorious cemeteries. The cemetery is still located on the edge of the reasons, as a cruel reminder of the institution's early days. The statue, placed there to commemorate the fallen soldiers buried on the grounds, have been reported by many suddenly flap its wings and sometimes weep real tears. Wilson Hall Stranger still, the 5 area cemeteries, if displayed on a map, provides the perfect shape of a pentagram with Wilson Hall, a building located on the Athens campus, which is just centered in the middle of the geometrical arrangement. Wilson Hall, located on West Green, opened the first 1964th Most new students quickly warned that Wilson Hall are said to be haunted.
