haunted towns

Ogden will be shown during the day as a typical small town in Utah, but at night, this quiet little community raises more than its share of frightening incidents.
Ogden had not always so friendly society. In the late 19th century it was full of opium's and brothels along 25th Street. Many were connected by underground tunnels that scenes of violence. In fact, for a short time, Ogden was known as the "murder capital" of the West! Today, walking along 25th Street on night and you can hear the sound of popping sound on the pavement. That was where the prostitutes drops dried beans from the second floor windows to attract customers. Some believe that many are left still looking for company.
The Bell Shire hospital, once an old psychiatric facility, has a violent history and has been the scene of many paranormal observations. It is said, the physician managing the hospital had a reputation for carrying out experimental treatments of patients. Today people have heard the blood curdling scream that seems to come out of thin air, or see figures staring out the window. A meeting with a young girl occurred during a recent ghost hunt. Today the hospital has been transformed into an interactive theater during Halloween horror season.
Ben Lomond Hotel is a popular destinations with the ghost of asylum seekers. Apparently in the 1940s, a woman staying at the hotel got word that her son died in World War II. She returned home, but she must have had her stay because many say that her spirit has returned to haunt the corridors. There are accounts of the lift stopped at floors where no one pressed. The reception has received calls from room 1106, when no one is occupying the room. If you visit, be sure to ask one of The Haunted place.
Union Railroad Station was once a temporary morgue where the spirit of observation and unexplained events are common. The most popular tale (many versions), is a lady in a blue dress who quarreled with her lover. She turns quickly to run away, step in front of an oncoming train and died instantly. The figure of a woman dressed in blue and wept when driving over the railway yard has been reviewed and revised.
Dead Haven was a popular Halloween haunted house who have their own spooky past. Although it is amusing many uses over the years, the building in the 1920s was a farm implement store located in the wrong part of town. Two apartments across the street burned down, killing 2 passengers, and the area was the site of many mistakes of death and murder. Paranormal Experts theorize that there are still wandering souls in the area. Ghostly figures have been seen and the sound of children's laughter has been heard at night when the building was empty.
Members of the Utah Paranormal Exploration and Research spent an evening mapping out the corridors of this creepy place to find concrete evidence of a haunting. In a of their recordings, can be clearly heard a voice say: "Who is it?" Other than a few flashlights that suddenly refused to work, and pictures a bobbing light that is through the camcorder another investigator, the night was pretty uneventful.
